Wood Fired Lasagna review by Kent
This was our first visit to Salute and we were not disappointed. The fresh hot rolls with the dipping oils are fabulous and were a nice start to our experience. I ordered the wood fired lasagna and it was the fabulous! I am very discriminating on red sauce and this was probably the tastiest that I have ever eaten. The dish comes served in a small cast iron skillet which ensures that it stays hot and the cheese had a nice toasted layer on top. I highly recommend this dish and we can't wait to return the next time that we are in Stowe!
Shrimp Scampi review by Eric
My wife enjoyed this dish so much we brought our son and girlfriend back to try the Shrimp SCampi. THey all loved it and raved about how good it was. In addition, I had the chicken marsala and it was prepared to perfection. The wait Staff Chase and others were outstanding as was the host who has so many pens at this disposal to keep track of his reservations and guests.

This exquisite dish alone would be enough for me to return to dine again. Robust and full of flavor, everything was prepared perfectly and worked together to tantalize the taste buds.

From the fresh warm to my Main dish everything was delicious! In fact, I enjoyed some of the leftover chicken picatta the next day for lunch! Not sure why it says catering menu above - it was in the regular menu!

We come from Ct at least once a year and Salute is always a "must" for us. Everything from the drinks, to appetizers, meals and desserts is always perfection. Not to mention the owner who is always so accommodating and a genuinely funny guy!

I had the chicken parmigiana with fresh pasta and it was delicious! I also had a cannoli for dessert. It had a light lemon flavor which was unexpected, but sooo good. Next time I'm in VT I will be coming back for sure. 10/10!!!
